Classic chicken alfredo fettucine
1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Season the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 6–7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
5. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a gentle simmer, then add Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine and chicken back to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
**Tip:** Pair with a side of garlic bread for a true Italian-inspired experience.
**Chef’s Note:** For extra flavor, add a splash of chicken broth or white wine when making the sauce.
