Preparation of vanilla milk: Heat the milk in a saucepan with the vanilla goose split in half and grated to release the seeds. Once the milk is hot, remove the saucepan from the heat and let the vanilla infuse for 10 minutes.

Preparation of the flan device: In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes white. Add the corn starch and mix well. Remove the vanilla lump from the milk and pour it gently onto the egg-sugar mixture while whisking to avoid lumps.
Cooking appliances: pour the preparation into the pot and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and incorporate liquid cream.
Preparation flan: preheat oven to 180°C. Dip a buttered tart mold with the mixture. Pour the flan device onto the mixture and smooth the surface.
Cooking: cook for about 45-50 minutes, until the flan is golden brown on top. Let cool completely before undressing and serving.
